nice, really nice! love the shine- looks stunning next to the black dial 105003- i hope you are able to unearth more about its production.
Well, I imagined that much about the museum fight and you prerty much confirmed it with the WoKB pouch. So, you've already got a rare dial non-pro with short indices, having another one just dilutes its rareness, doesn't it?
Congrats, Mr.Spacefruit. That is one jaw dropper, well two to be precise. But that blue dial even have amateurs swooning I bet. I am surprised by the side shot which really didn't show much blue at all. More pictures please!
Hi Mr Spacefruit Congratulations ! I can now look forward to learning a bit more in the following discussion & perhaps will even get to see it in the flesh too ! Best - Neil
It was money well spent for such beautiful and rare dial, especially when compared to the phantom 2915. And he wasn't the only one chasing after it, but he won!
I was recently speaking with someone from the Omega museum, and they confirmed that yes, they do sometimes buy online, including from eBay. They have a 'normal' ebay ID they use for buying, and you will only know you have sold to them when you see the name where the payment is coming from. They have apparently picked up a few very nice pieces in this way. And yes, only interested in 'reasonably' priced pieces.
yes, a few of my watches were bought by them that way too........it is good to see, that they care about their history and buy for the museum. and have it there for all of us to admire ! kind regards. achim
