    Nice first post. Nice watch. A '62 Longines with a 30L movement is in my watch menagerie and it's a very accurate watch.

    All my 30L are pretty loud movements too. Not complaining at all, part of their charm.

    they don't come much cleaner than that one! as an aside, how easy is it to find the date of manufacture on these vintage longines? is there a serial number table similar to omega and rolex? I might have to go on the hunt for one meeself!
