The wee boy visiting Santa today, he seemingly had a lovely time with so much attention 🥰
I am definately getting old, I never dreamt they would have a Santa for pets 🤦

My old pal has made many appearances on this thread but I do not remember posting this image of him looking so well and sadly only a few weeks later he was gone but never from our memories, hardly a day goes by without mention of our old pal and recounting all the adventures he shared with us. Gone but not forgotten 🥰

Youngster may be growing up but he still loves to take a toy with him no matter where 😀

He is just back from the groomers hence the colour variation.

It’s a take over technique, occupying as long as you can.

Ooh duck. Do you roast it? I love duck but I’ve never tried cooking it at home. Did you train the doggo yourself my buddy in Wisconsin used to spend thousands having his hunting dogs trained but he loved it. It’s amazing how those dogs react and I’m not a hunter anymore

Roast, stir fry, curry. You name it. 😀

I have, since 1980, had six working dogs, all of them trained by me.

Training is very rewarding - but the buck stops with the trainer. Although the person working the dog is usually at fault. 😁

I was at the pet store yesterday (they actually emptied the place for 10 min as during a dog obedience training one of the mutts Started running around wild)

anyway they had a cat collar that is treated with various “things” that allegedly calm a cat down and cut down on “over meowing” made to treat cat anxiety.

Rocky raccoon is the most vocal cat I’ve had. He walks around meowing most of his waking hours. I can tell the food or water meow it’s more demanding the other meows are like someone walking around singing. He has done this since he was a kitten and some of his intonations are quite funny. He is healthy. This behavior escalated for two weeks after his brother disappeared. It doesn’t bother me, drives my wife nuts but she didn’t grow up with pets.

Probably no one here can answer but I’m wondering if Rocky has cat anxiety. When hairy was alive the vet wanted to put her on Prozac as he thought she was high strung but I didn’t want to do that as I knew hairy was just mad she wasn’t human

Might be a Russian blue thing. My blue is very vocal and also drives me nuts. Not quite as bad as you describe but if she wants to go outside the whole house will know it.

Ya I was thinking that I’ve never had a purebred but I know they have different characteristics. It’s kinda funny as long as he isn’t uncomfortable. I can’t see putting animals on psych meds when they can’t tell you if they are having bad side effects

As times go by I really do wonder how many times I may have repeated posts 🙁

My lovely lab who I had intended to to be a working boy but became a loving family pet 😀
