Is the black one female? I’m guessing by the name so. I’m my experience (with sooper dooper) female black cats are mellow and affectionate but there are exceptions to the rules.
Yes. The black one, Betty, is female. She and her sister Wilma are 18 weeks old and are still hard into the kitten phase. Both are affectionate but not yet mellow. They are both bonded to each other and are still trying to figure things out with regard to the two leggers they the tolerate living with. We expect goods things from them and are very happy with their progress thus far. Thanks for asking. All the best to you and the brothers.
have fun

Max tried to make a moose friend today. She was actually a lot bigger than she looks in the photo.
Oh that’s a great picture. Moose recently had a pretty decent population increase in my area. I saw more when I was in Vermont and Maine but it seems people around here don’t realize if you hit a moose with a car it’s like hitting a couple telephone poles. Did she react to you in anyway? We made one unhappy on a hiking/fishing camping trip. He was a full grown male. I think they scare me more than bears. Edit-oh that’s a male?
Let's just say that she didn't want to be friends with Max.
That female above is a local, but we saw 6 moose on a recent backpacking trip, including this huge bull who hung out at a pond near our campsite for hours and wasn't bothered by us at all. I was not about to let Max get anywhere near him. I just had visions of the bull chasing Max right back to us.
Wow that is truly amazing you are blessed to be able to take a stroll by such magnificent history. Your pals get to see such nice things. My wife and I had tickets to go to Scotland right before covid hit most of my travels have been to China and surrounding areas the high point for me would have been castles, shinning armor and I admit I’m a big fan of Charlotte Brontë read all her books. I’m secure enough in my masculinity to admit that. I think I cried one time reading a Brontë book.
You and your doggos are very lucky imo and if we do get a trip into Great Britain and surrounding areas if it’s not like a Charlotte Brontë book I am going to be very upset.
On a decidedly less fun note, I lost my beautiful Poppy a week and a half ago. She was a little under the weather one evening, then went missing the next morning, and we later found her dead under her favourite lilac bush in the garden. She was just a month shy of her 14th birthday.
