Bad night last night. As previously posted Rocky raccoon can push open the sliding glass door. I forgot to lock it last night and he opened so both he and Maharishi Yogi got out. Maharishi is never to go out he is a complete terror to my neighbors dog or anything else he finds. So at midnight I found them fighting in the backyard then my chase to get them lasted 45minutes. Today is much better they are actually showing rate affection to each other and Rocky was posing by flowers. Although they were staring at some damn thing I couldn’t figure out what the hell it was. I zoomed in on Rocky’s 7 claw paw

I'm happy to say that Zelda is still doing well on the prednisone. Occasionally she isn't quite herself first thing in the morning and she is moving around a little more slowly in general, but aside from that she is generally in great spirits, eating well, wagging her tail at 18,000 beats per hour, and giving kisses. I was hoping to get her out for a substantial hike at some point, and yesterday was the perfect day, so I gave it a shot. We were out for a couple of hours, exploring some of our old haunts and she had a ball.

Great to see her out enjoying the countryside, long may that continue 🥰

This is my Luca Brassi, he was the Godfather's right hand gun. He's now chilling though.

That is great to hear. I remember bringing sooper dooper to the vet she was not eating, not moving and hiding in dark quiet spots. I think she was 17 at the time. The vet said “before we just put her down let’s try prednisone.” Although several other meds were added in her early 20’s it was that damn prednisone that brought back her quality of life. That stuff can be a miracle. It actually helped me out as well when I got some weird post Covid stuff. Let’s hope it keeps working.

We had this too a few years back. Turned out to be a squirrel came into the ceiling through some hole. Matilda our cat heard it from the second floor, the squirrel was in the third floor roof. 😁
so I suggest squirrel or mice in the wall.

We do get the occasional mouse at winter so it’s possible, they also somehow pick up the tiniest bug movement although it could be cats can see ghosts or alien technology observation rays. Really the possibility are endless.

I could have sworn I heard he sleeps with the fishes.

Boston terrier calisthenics. Blanche did pushups but Daphne prefers yoga.

I get that push-up but that last picture has me puzzled

Funny you guys brought that up. For the past few days the “photo” screen on my phone has been pictures of hairy. I miss her calmness and the dog like loyalty she showed me.
