Radar booted up to hunt in Texas. The sand burrs and cactus are tough on their feet.... The snow and cold has been tough on him this year too. Getting old like his owner I guess...
I thought I would give a heads up to any of our UK members who use the Pet Passport Scheme. Sandy recently had his latest vaccination against rabies and instead of the usual circular OV stamp our veterinarian used his own practice stamp and simply wrote down his SP number. Queried this and was informed that was the new procedure. Decided to double check with the Animal and Plant Health Agency and really glad I did, it transpires that the circular OV stamp must be used on all old passports. The veterinarians practice stamp and hand written SP number is only for the new passports. Certain you can imagine the chaos had we turned up at passport control with an incorrect passport If anyone would like an image of the correct and incorrect stamp just drop me a pm, I don't want to name and shame our veterinarian on open forum.
Received this image from one of my daughters, obviously decided the old boy needed a smile on his face
I don't have, and have never had, a pet, but as can be seen from my "likes" I'm a sucker for a dog. Nearest I have got for the last few years is: https://www.dogstrust.org.uk/sponsor/
Lot of respect for Dogstrust, many years ago my youngest did a weeks work experience with them, hated the first day but by the last she didn't want to leave.
Thank You...."Bo" left us in 2002 at 15yrs. Luckily he had made prior arrangements for his Cousin to take over. Bob Come on Dad...you know I Love fish'n..... "Fado" (destiny, fate)
