··Omega Qualified WatchmakerMy old pal with all his lumps enjoying a look out of the window, we always used to have a no pets on the furniture rule but when it come to the old boy 👍
Ours are part of the family, so they get to use the furniture just as we do.
They of course have their own furniture too, for when they need their own space...

·On the train this evening an old fella (== older than me) came by with a pretty little terrier of some sort. Dog and owner were wearing poppies. They stopped at the table I and another passenger were occupying so the dog could have a stroking and announced she was a Trench Dog. Of course! To keep down the rats in the trenches 👍

A compensation for the white hair & beard of old age is that young ladies do not consider you a threat and are happy to talk. Now if only I could get in contact with their grandmothers....
