I can proclaim summer over in the desert
5:30pm Oct. 6th and I can walk the dugs without overheating the furballs.

Hard at work.

My wife has a coworker who got a second keyboard on the desk because his cat would jump on the keyboard when he sat down to work. Pretty clever.

I stii don't understand cats.

6:30am I can’t leave for work until sooper dooper takes one of her comfortable positions on a chair or couch. Elderly cats require numerous small meals you just never know that number as it varies daily. Today was only three feedings between 6a-6:30 and she is giving me the all clear sign. It’s a balancing act as hairy requires a cat treat with each sooper dooper feeding yes they make my morning a pain in the ass.

all my 4 cats want to eat whenever one cat is fed, no matter they are hungry or not

one particular cat (the bigger one in photo) eats again and again and he threw up and then eats again parallel to the others, almost every morning, i guess he has what they call bulimia of some kind

looks like you have solved the "save your hands" problem. Those treats are like cat crack and our cats will come running from every corner of the house when they hear the box move. Excitement sometimes leads to claws/teeth snaring fingers instead of food.

Found this little creature crossing the path on a trail. Made a new friend I moved him off the trail as I missed stepping on the little fellow by an inch.

I didn’t do much shopping during a recent trip to NYC, but couldn’t pass on this toy for the little guy 😁

I got a surprise day off. Hairy is doing her best to stay up with me. I’m not sure what is going on with her chest fur. It does look like she could be hiding a cat in it. I got a friend who is a serious seiko collector named his cat seiko. It’s also a big fluff ball we had an argument about who’s cat was a bigger fluff ball he claimed Hairys fur lacks the density of his cat seikos declaring himself the winner. It was at that moment I realized I have issues deeper than I originally thought.

Feeling a bit ticked off today..... The old boy is fine but his on/off crush visited with some hitchhikers today. She seemed fine and I removed one with a tick tool. I don’t know much about UK ticks. Can she pass these onto dog etc? I guess I will have to have a chat with her parents. Luckily she and old boy still practice anti-social distancing (more off than on). Any tick advice appreciated / not something old boy suffers from.

Oh looks like it was riding for a while. That bloated belly is full of it’s hosts blood. Looks like you did good got the head. Once they are embedded with a host they usually remain on that host unless your unlucky enough to get a pregnant one. I don’t know if there is much difference between UK/US tics. I believe in a creator, I have a difficulty believing all the beings on earth were some freak accident and I don’t like to doubt the wisdom of said creator but I think we could have done just fine without mosquitoes, tics and fleas.

In the end I got about 20 off. I am not sure where she had been and by the end I was pushing my luck / she was starting to hiss like a holed tyre :0). I saw her parents tonight and they will have a four handed attempt to find / clear the rest later. She likes to wander / must have cuddled a hedgehog maybe. Hopefully once they are off she won’t pick anything up. I agree - in nature we are all gods creatures but these little guys are getting the tweezers, brush and flush treatment I am afraid...

A week ago I picked up some green lipped mussel for my old pal on the off chance it just may help his joints, thought we could see a change in him after a couple of days but put it down to wishful thinking until this afternoon when we were out for a short walk and met up with with a near neighbour who commented on how well he was walking.
Fingers crossed it continues to help him.

Hope it helps__

Neo takes some Aplazyl and Galliprant. It does help him I must say.
