There was a small scramble this morning to locate an inmate who missed breakfast rollcall.

Said inmate had taken himself off to the spare room at some point and that's how Thursday was being dealt with.

Fantastic! This photo should be shown to anyone who ever asks what Frenchies are like. It says it all.

(Good opportunity to photoshop a small watch onto him)

Well after two years without a dog, meet Nala. A year and a half old. Easy going and confident shiba girl, despite an unsettled start to life. Mrs S and I were smitten instantly. May or may not have some epilepsy issues to contend with, we’ll see. Not our first rodeo. Have to get her spayed in May. I’m a tad nervous but this feels like fate. The foster mom was relieved to find her an experienced shiba home. She comes home Monday of next week.

Also, a recent development, Mrs Wiv was talking to a client on her 'temping' job ( one i could not do with ten years of training) and kept getting iinterrupted with multiple dogs barking...
" Oh that's just my 3 Labs, ha ha ha"
" you have 3 labs?" * picturing a) the UK housing stock and b) our friends with 2 in a big house which is 70% fur...
" Oh, yeah, at least you can't hear the bulldogs!"
    "!?"
    " We have 17"
    "-"
"Used to have 40 plus...we breed them , but can;t let them go"

    So...may finally be getting a Bully :D

WooHoo, time to party. Dad has caved to some serious pressure from the rest of the family to allow me to prove my manliness before I lose a couple of bits of my anatomy.
Understanding that the stakes are high and I won't get another shot I need to make sure that I get the perfect match. With this in mind I have assembled an ensemble of photos that I will utilise in a an add in the local catzette to find the perfect match.

@Barking mad ... Bonnie is obviously queen of her castle and her humans. She’s lovely. What breed is she?

how is Bonnie doing with the cold. I think I’m coming up
On 6 days of sooper being on the new antibiotic (thanks to the two of you here. Definite improvement for now. Also sooper dooper thyroid test came back fine, she has the thyroid readings of a cat less than half her age (actually the vet said a 1/4 of her age) so hopefully sooper is done with the vet a year. Believe me I don’t mind spending money on her to do other would be neglect but damn these blood tests and meds are getting out of hand I could have got her a watch for each front paw this year, not a Rolex or anything but a couple nice little seiko or vintage omega. Anyway hope Bonnie is progressing as well.

    Hi Larry,
Bonnie is actually a boy, long story short we were supposed to be getting a girl and because she is a Scottish Fold her name was going to be Bonnie. But Bonnie ended up being a boy, still a Scottish Fold so we kept the name Bonnie after researching if the name is still appropriate for a boy. It is appropriate but much more common with girls.

He is a great cat, extremely gregarious and a lovely gentle personality.

He is a lot better, not totally cured yet but markedly better.

Great news for Sooper Dooper, I think everyone that contributes to this thread placed in the same position would react as you have. Life is not always about money or dare I say it "watches"
    Cheers
