The photo above of the Coker diving into the water brought back some great memories of mine, named him Jock, used to dive in the pool and dive down to try and rescue the kids off the bottom. He was the best gun dog I ever owned, relentless retrieving drive, as soon as he saw the gun cupboard being unlocked he was up and ready to go in an instant, still miss that dog.

Lol. That’s my cocker and she sometimes swims underwater to pick up stones and waterlogged branches from the bottom.

This blackbird is starting to prove a bit of a nuisance, we daren't leave the door open or he is in and as we found out he is not house trained 🤦
Having said that I do love our feathered friends but the occasional visit by a sparrow hawk tests me a bit but such is nature.

The reason I can’t go to dog shelters. I would foster all of them

those are damn good looking dogs. We would probably take one or five home with us

Damn upsetting. We had two squirrels who would visit the backyard all day getting the apples, lettuce, corn etc etc
Have not seen them for a week now.

As you say real lookers and they still end up in a shelter, we will never know the reasons but a lot of cash was spent to purchase them.

it seems like if you released your pack, they would solve your squirrel problem.

I loved the squirrels we put out the treats for them. Sorry for confusion.
The dogs wouldn’t know what to do if they caught one. Probably run back in the house if the squirrel looked at them funny.

I misread your email. Don't worry I would not seriously like your dog to get the squirrels or vice versa.

I wonder how that big beautiful Great Dane ended up at the shelter. Said to see, I mean it’s all sad but I imagine not too many people go to shelters looking for dogs that weigh more than they do
