I have several of her on here but here she is sunbathing I don’t think I saved any action photos. I can take one tomorrow when the sun is up. Often she looks like a pile of fur someone stuck a cat head on. She hated me for months when I brought her home. After about a half year she became my best buddy

different than dogs; you have to earn their affection. Very peaceful and adorable

As they say
A dog will look up at you
A cat will look down at you
A pig will treat you as it's equal

Bonnie so wants to play with Mango but I am worried that Mango might accidentally souvenir a paw. Don't think he would do it on purpose but once it is gone it is gone😉

Ooh beautiful parrot. What kind is it they always fascinated me. A friend of our families asked me if he could leave his parrot to me in his will. I let him know I had cats but would certainly be willing to take over care of the bird. He wanted to transfer it to me as he was getting on in age unfortunately the parrot caught some weird disease and passed about a month before I was going to take it.

He is a Macaw, he has grown up with cats and is not a problem. We have other small parrots who the cats are also good with. He is also bilingual Vietnamese and English. If he wants attention he develops a nasty cough which is pretty funny to listen to.
Quite a bit of the time the door on his cage is open so he can come and go or he can hang in his tree in the courtyard😀

Bonnies week in review😀
Still bird hunting..

and making friends..

Still trying to make friends with Ziggy, still not working🙁

Maybe try hunting a bigger bird..

Try my paw at fishing in my silly coat that I have to wear because I have had a cold for the last two weeks and the weather is getting colder. It seems the vet told mum I needed a coat, I thought I already had one😉

Got the sniffles..

Wrestle a snake on the balcony..

Playing with mum..

Not going to sleep, just having a rest..

I lied..

I like that sweater. I will give you a free watch from my box (not that I have anything that great) if you can get a sweater on this guy. He ways 16lbs and his large cheeks are muscle. You can’t use sedatives or the scruff of the neck move, I’m quite confident you won’t succeed. Enjoy Bonnie now as some day soon she will realize she is the boss and won’t approve the color schemes you choose for her.

Well, speaking of wildlife, Remi was out for a wee yesterday in the front yard and almost stood on this little guy:

Chipmunk that was clearly not well. We didn't want to leave him to the local cats, so we scooped him up and put him in a small cage we have handy for this kind of situation, and called around to a couple of local wildlife rescue places. No visible injuries, so we were not sure what was wrong with him:

He could scurry around on the ground and jump around a bit, but wasn't in any shape to go too far. One place we called was full, so they gave us a number for another and they didn't call us back. Checked on him later and unfortunately he didn't make it. Pretty bummed about that last night...but at least we tried...🙁

You did your best, who is to say the rescue place could have helped him. I guess nature took its course.

Damn just got back from the vet to fill super doopers prescriptions no wonder I don’t have a Rolex. If anyone remembers sooper Is 21 and has several illnesses I showed the IV bag before but the vet added two more meds and I figured I’d get a fresh IV bag while there as 10ml a day goes through a bag quickly. Good news is she is holding steady on her weight so it appears these meds are slowing the cancer down. That’s about the best I can hope for.
