·Yes in the US Cockapoo is the standard term, but we prefer the Australian Cockerdoodle. It doesn't involve the words Cocka or poo. Also, her cocker half is English Cocker Spaniel which is more of hunting dog than a lap dog, thus a doodle.
mine is an Australian Labradoodle (40% labrador 40% poodle 20% spaniel). I believe the spaniel part is English cocker and another spaniel

Sounds like a great mix. She will be a good dog. We certainly love ours, and the no shedding is awesome. Our last dog was a Brittany, and the Cockerdoodle certainly has many of those great spaniel characteristics, but she also has a little poodle hop that she makes when she makes a step or pounces on her ball.

These are the two best dogs. Cookie loves everyone. Lucy is highly attracted to babies and really little kids. Given a choice Lucy will checkout a screaming baby before somebody with a treat
