What a handsome boy! How old is he? Very glad to have another Boxer in the OF family.

I see the pool there, can he swim? My first Boxer was a decent swimmer, not a thing of beauty, but persistently kept her head (barely) above water, made good progress, and would even fetch sticks. Since then, my Boxers have had serious buoyancy problems. My second literally could not stay above water despite much effort and help from me. I would take her out into a lake holding her up and get her going, but as soon as I stopped supporting her, she would gradually sink. We eventually gave up. My current Boxer is slightly better, but I wouldn't trust her to swim any significant distance.

Only had him a week and thus far has shown no interest in the pool except to bark at the chlorine floater a few times. Our bulldog loved drinking from the pool but otherwise hated it.

For the time being he's not allowed out when I can't see him.

After 321 days without a dog in the house this adorable pup found his way into our lives.

I'm absolutely smitten all over again, oh happy days! 馃榾

Hi OF!

Just wanted to share a couple of videos now that our corgi is a year old.

The first is a quick video from the day that we were able to select our puppy, from a litter of 13 puppies.

The second is from a week ago, when we were playing with Indy during one of our walks. It's not so often that Corgis have their tails, as they are often docked in USA, Great Britain and Asia. As you can see, they have very beautiful tails and he is often mistaken for a fox. Enjoy 馃榿

Docking tails was banned over 10 years ago ( 2006?) in the UK, a lot of breeders, my family included stopped doing it a long time ago because it's unpleasant.
Examples from our herd with and without, naturally.

Ah that's great news - I was sharing poor information then. Sorry about that!

Breautiful dogs by the way.

Two years on from losing our X Collie/German Shepherd; old friend and confidant. My wife and had decided not to have to go through that loss again. But, you know how it is... Meet our new family member.

Sounds like a no-regrets move to me. Congrats in the addition. 馃憤

We all say "never again", and then we turn into liars. We made it 1yr 9 months before getting another dog last summer.

Looks like a pretty sweet motorhome, great size. What brand and model is it?
