I don't like to check this thread often, because I'm afraid of the bad news I read about other people's darling dogs.

But I'll just do an update on mine.

So last week, my Goldie had a lump/growth that was growing pretty fast. It was red and was oozing puss and blood.

A quick Google suggested it might be cancer or not. I tend to be pessimistic at times this really brought my mood down.

Brought her to the doc to get surgery done to remove it and doc said it wasn't cancerous. Great sign of relief.

She's such a trooper.

Yeah, trees don’t always bend, but snap. From last night.

I heard you had it pretty bad down there.

Someone was talking in the background about CBD oil for cats with lymphoma while I was dictating my message and it showed up in my post.

I wondered if you were recommending it for the tree.

She's home!

Collected her on Thursday, and she was fine on the 300 mile drive home.

Love the markings on her face, especially the eyebrows! 😎

Just a quick update on my old pal, on one green lipped mussel tablet a day now for several weeks and the transformation has been fantastic.
Far more agile and I can see the old sparkle in his eyes 🥰

I’m thinking about adding another dog to my family. A friend of mine has a golden doodle. He is a about thirteen months old. He sure is a beautiful looking dog. The woman really screwed this dog up. He has severe aggression issues. He will bite if you go any where near his food bowl. Plus, he does not like going into a crate he will also bite if you try go get him into the crate. He also does not like kids.

The woman purchased the dog at eight weeks old pup and she grew afraid of him kept him crated most of the time if not all the time. When the dog was about six months old. She decided to board the dog at a kennel. Her thinking was they will straighten the dog out. No joy with that.

I met the dog a few days ago. He snapped at me but I was able to get my hand out of the way. That’s the only reason I didn’t get bit. He’s a nice dog other then his severe aggression issues.

This weekend I’m going to take my wife with me to visit the dog. If I’m lucky I may be able to break the dog of his behavior. I know is that will not be an easy task. That will take time along with a lot of TLC. My only concern is I have young grandkids that frequent my home all the time. And I would not to have one of them get a dog bite from the dog.

Any thoughts.

Had a dog my wife found. Toby was mean as hell. A terror, bite, growl etc etc
He finally tamed down and was a good. He would have his spells he would revert. All have the little scars. Toby was a Shitzu so the bites were little. My oldest son was petting the little devil and the dog was enjoying it. Then Toby went into devil mode and was at his throat.

Another bad story. Employee had a Aussie Shepard, same deal, mean dog. Tamed it down and all was good for 5 or 6 years. Her adult daughter was petting the dog on the couch, all was fine. Dog went devil mode and almost ripped her face off. Plastic surgeries etc etc

It is a tough deal. Crap shoot if you ask me. You just don’t know. If you have kids or grandkids then no way.
