@gemstar I feel your pain. I'm sure she had a great life with her loving friends. Hang in there. The good memories will ease the pain as time goes by....

Changed my avatar to this shot (possibly already posted) a reminder of happy days touring in the motorhome 🥰

Sometimes these guys almost feel like pets .. they're certainly always hanging out in my front yard like they own the place.

We've had them as pets before. Not wild rabbits but our first was a Holland Lop, and after that we had a Netherland Dwarf. I've had many other pets that were better than rabbits were I have to say.

Well, not good news here. Remi had to go to the internal medicine vet yesterday...

He's been drinking a lot of water and none of the tests we've done over the last 2 months have revealed anything specific. He's also had pretty bad diarrhea the last week or so, and he's losing some weight. Couple grand later in tests, they found a shadow of a foreign object in his stomach on the ultrasound, and some streaking that is unusual in walls of the intestinal tract.

So he's in for surgery this morning to remove whatever is was that he ate (the oddsmakers are currently favouring a beech nut that has fallen from one of our trees) and to get some biopsies done on his intestinal wall. Surgery will be another couple grand. I don't mind the money at all, as I would spend my last dime on taking care of my pets, but I hope once the foreign object is removed, he's be back to his normal goofy self.

It's really the intestinal tract stuff that has me worried the most...🙁

Poor guy ... that's crazy that a beech nut could cause so much trouble. Please keep us updated.

That sucks 🙁 - Remy looks so sad and down in the picture. I'm sure the doctors will work their magic and he will be back to normal self in no time!
