Thought I would share this little project of making a strap, took a couple of hours with one of my family members but I think it looks pretty good. Need to figure out the stitching and whatnot but not bad for a first attempt! I particularly like it on my sunburnt Chronometre :)

Nice. And I think it looks great without any stitching. Bracelet complements the strap well.

It does not look pretty good... It looks stunning!!
    Stitching would ruin it

Excellent Kyle. Perhaps the beginning of a thriving cottage industry? :)

I think the best part of making your own, is the look of only one hole for sizing. Nice clean look as it is.

The 2410 is of course the gem of this thread. A very uncommon 35mm screwback manual wind chronometre. It's probably harder to find one of these than a 2998 speedmaster.

It looks great, and is a great match to the dial.
I like the idea of creating straps to match the character of the watch! There's your marketing idea...

"Oh these Kids"! To no ones surprise: Kyle is one of the best and brightest.
Congratulations on a beautiful strap. No stitching, one hole, perfect!
As for your stunning 2410: Wear in good health, Miki

I'd love to make a strap. Do know of any great youtube tutorials of any other educational avenues to look at?

now everyone is hot for a 2410 ?

I have two , one in steel and a tu-tone steel and 14k rose gold bezel.

    This is a strap thread...

Hey who has a large wrist ? I have a 8 inch wrist and its VERY hard to find nice straps that are long length.

    anyone else?

IMHO Frankie @Banda.com make the best straps for the bucks. I'm a "Gator" guy, but they make several "Vintage style" leather straps with minimal stitching.
