Anyone ever had a go at this? I'm keeping an eye on a couple of gold plated rough condition bracelets and am thinking reconditioning/plating could be a fun project.... Id never do a watch, before anyone has a fit....

Machine or immersion? I have a friend whose life mission seems to have become electro-plating as many random items as possible.

I once bought a gold-plated fly. Apparently it was a real (dead) fly, that had been gold-plated?

I would ask why, but somehow I think it's better to just leave that hanging....

Nuts. I thought we were going to have a discussion on RISP and how many more ways you can score from third instead of second.

I was a 15 year old boy. I thought it was cool
What was worse was that I wore it on my blazer every day to school

There are 11 or 12 more ways to score from 3rd than from 2nd. I think Evan and I discussed this during my last visit to Florida for spring training. Give me some time to get my annoying work done so I can concentrate on important issues like this.

Yes, almost rude to be speaking another language when one of the group can't understand.
And that's just not Cricket.

    fielders choice
    double play

    hit by pitch (bases loaded)
    walk "

How about "runner indifference" (that's a stretch)?

I haven't cheated to google yet but it's only a matter of time

Brother Man, this is the worst hijack I've ever been party to.
    Apologies, All!

Sold out! Who knew that a nasty fly on a pearl would be such a hit.

Seriously though, I've also been interested in learning a bit of home brew electroplating. Particularly the nickel and rhodium kits for some of those old watch cases that have been worn down to the ugly base metal. To date, I haven't done any more than read about it. I realize you can do this on the cheap with a car battery and some gator clips, but I've also had my eye on some of the digital voltage rectifiers and more of the pro kits. They aint cheap, however.

    [IMG] Ok
The earrings are cute but when you wear them, keep in mind that they are flies. It just looks kinda weird that you're wearing flies on your ears...

I was once asked about Cricket by an amazed American one day. He wanted to know why he would drive to work in the morning and see guys in their whites playing Cricket and then when work was over he would drive past the same guys still playing Cricket and did the game really take that long to play. He was shocked when I told him that he had actually driven past the one single game..... for the last 5 days........ AND THERE WAS NO WINNER
