    Came across this on a routine search seller described it as a hognail dial not come across one like this before
    Wondering if other members know anything

    Sorry now know it’s a hobnail dial think the seller made a typo error
    Do you think it worth considering as a purchase

    Would need to see the condition of the gold cap (I assume it’s capped). I love these dials but I don’t love the salmon patina, but that’s just personal preference.

    I'm the opposite and really like the salmon dial, I find it combines well with the gold. As for the OP's watch, the dial looks to be in very good shape, so as has been said if the gold filled case has stood the test of time well then it's a decent buy.....depending on the price of course!
