That is where all the 321s went! Not enough left for the anniversary edition. 🙁

They already did a Nomos collaboration didn't they? The Metro Chronometer?
Indeed, and am just hoping for more of that type of LE and less of the astronomical stuff.

Maybe Sinn? That might actually be pretty cool...

Honestly I believe it would be smart of them to do a larger production(1000 or so pieces) of something in more of an entry level range. Considering a massive portion of their audience is most likely not able to afford some of their other LEs this could make them seem less "elitist"

A Grand Seiko LE, especially now that they have become an independent brand, could be a nice way to generate some buzz in the North American market. Jack Foster seems to be a big GS fan and it would be probably at a good price point to do a larger production run as suggested by @Jwit.

Not sure the Japanese would desire the marketing association. Still think something Swiss or German (ALS) is more likely though.

Anyway, whatever it is, I am pretty sure it will look nice, at least based on the last LE collaboration efforts.

Oy vey I didn't even think of Lange being an option (I am blinded by my love). But the more I think about it the more I see it could be the truth.
Collaboration with "the furthest thing from it[Omega]". (Quote from Ben Clymer on OF during Basel discussion)

Actually I read this on the Hodinkee site:
It has to do with a certain unique creation that we've been working on with some friends across the Atlantic for nearly a year now.

So clearly a European brand effort. Special relationship US-UK? Perhaps Bremont?

From my observation of GS, I think that's pretty unlikely. Seiko, yes, but GS I highly doubt it. I can't really think of any collaboration that they've ever done with another brand.

What would make me reach for my wallet is if they somehow got Seiko to collaborate on a 6105 reissue. I very much doubt this as well though because I think Seiko is saving this for either the anniversary in 2020 or maybe next year if the SLA017 is super successful.

I was thinking the exact same thing. With Breitling's recent news/struggles, I could see this as a decent marketing decision to stir up interest and buzz.

Maybe they will announce their recent agreement on Breitling acquisition ::psy::

700M are for Hodinkee just a month of google ads revenue stream, isn't it? 😁

'across the Atlantic' sounds like it will be with a British maker.

It'll be Bremont. They LOVE a LE/exclusive to some sort of club or organisation watch.

I've heard that it will have the Wright Brothers Pubic hair in tiny capsules attached to the minute and hour hands.

Whatever it is, it's going to be laughably overpriced like anything from hodinkee.
It's funny because I really agree with you, but when you look at their additions to the shop for the past couple of weeks there were some really decent priced pieces (Leonidas CP-2 for 3900, Tudor blue lollipop for 4200, etc.)
Are they getting a bit more reasonable, or are market prices growing to silly prices ? 😀
