Hodinkee certainly love Rolex and Patek, but I would be surprised that either would associate their "leadership brands" with an internet WIS content provider. JLC might be a good fit, indeed an engraved Hodinkee tribute Reverso would be quite an easy job, but certainly not worthy of a "big announcement". Not sure if the blurred image in the header of the article means anything, it's file name is teaser.jpg, and I believe I can just about make out a Hodinkee brand cravat and tweed jacket "Enhance... Enhance..."
Ben Clymer replying to comments to the teaser post has stated that "this won't be for everyone"...so I expect something quirky or expensive. It does look large... Some other watch brand options: Cartier, Piaget, Tudor, Heuer
Could be #tudorthursday ? I personally wish it was Heuer too but even if I squint really hard I don't see quite see it the resemblance.
BTW if Hodinkee have been following this thread, they are probably having a good chuckle reading our "guess" posts, as well as enjoying the "free publicity".
