    Hello

I just bought this watch and I can not find other identical with black calatrava dial, 18k gold & hinged case back.
The hinge is broken and need repair. Dial 30mm.

    Is the movement a 26.5 sob T2?
Thank you in advance for your information.

    It is a 26,5, likely a t2.

Rare, yes. How much, I am not sure. Yann may tell us more (@Tire-comedon ).

I own a 26,5 in a gold hinged case with myself, but the case is different and is Dennison (British) made.

By the way, the thread you gave a link to is pretty funny. A lot of talk to eventually state what is obvious: that the case is genuine and Swiis made, and that the dial has been repainted...

Tire comedon!! Ca ne peut donc être qu'un compatriote, ce sera plus facile. Merci beaucoup.
It is true that this post is not very informative. The information on the provenance of the case seems to me wise.

"" So the case is 18 carat and was made in La Chaux-de-Fonds by Manufacture Favre & Perret..""

I just understood that the number inside the hammer indicates the manufacturer.

105 is for "Les Fils de Jules Blum" La Chaux-de-Fonds 21.7.1934 16.5.1974

    Hi,
I think I can find the model ref if you confirm the case sizes : case diameter (without crown) / glass diameter / lug width.

    Is it 32.5 / 28 / 17.5mm, 30.5 / 28 / 17.5mm or 28.5 / 26 / 17 mm?

    Hi
The size of the case is 32.5mm, but the glass diameter is 30mm (The metal ring around the glass is only 1 mm wide, maybe a little lessThanks a lot) and the lug width is 18mm.
    Thanks a lot

    Hi,
You're right it's 29mm glass diameter and 18mm lug width, I typed too quickly.
So it should be a OU 2099 26.5, 18k gold case with metal Inside cover.
Here in the 1940 catalog, same ref with a 30mm caliber (in those years, you could find the same case in same size with different caliber Inside. All had the same case ref) :

    Hard to be more efficient.
The 2099 looks great and the dimensions are similar but I can not find any with a hinged caseback.
Perhaps a specificity of the manufacturer?
Do you know the year of release of CK 2099 because I can not find a date before 1940? And the number on the case seems to date from 1938.

    Hi,
The EBay one is not the same, but a smaller (28.5,mm diameter) version, ref OJ 2071 :

Regarding hinged case, I suppose it is not an exception but was like that for gold cases.

The Omega database says that CK 2099 was in the 1940 collection with caliber 30mm (https://www.omegawatches.com/watch-omega-other-omega-ck-2099/) which we already know. I have no information on when the gold OU 2099 with 26.5 Inside was created.
