Thanks for your advice. I will go to Omega store here in Stockholm for advise and expertise. Beat regards
I doubt that a sales associate at an Omega store will have much knowledge about old military watches, but good luck. If you want additional opinions, there are other forums, including a forum that specializes in military watches.

They won’t be able to give you any accurate information on your particular watch.

Why not spend a few hours reading related threads on this forum, then when you have some specific areas of concern or thoughts, come back and share your research

Look at it this way. Your movement was made around 1963. Your case was supposedly made in 1943 give or take a year (though I have strong doubts). Your dial was made around 7.30pm last Wednesday, probably somewhere in India, and the hands are probably fake. The crystal too. Does that sound like an original watch?

I don't think your plan of blindly buying things then crying to the seller with buyers remorse afterwards will work indefinitely. Hope that helps.

LOL, Padders. It's only a little 12 noon in my area, but this might be the best post that I'll see today. 😀

Absolutely Greg, that’s the best post I’ve read for some time 😊. At these times we all need some humour!

Hands (not even correct style) and dial look like reproductions (fakes) to me, as does the crystal with the strange Ω.
Mid-case looks to be in exceptional condition for something older than me and doesn't match the "wear" to the caseback.
As noted by others, it's a franken bordering on counterfeit.

@miodragbasovic-g:
Your watch is a completely fake... Maybe an original WWW (Waterproof Wrist Watch) case, but wrong centre second movement and new made non Omega dial and hands and wrong crown. Case and movement may have a little value as spares. Konrad
(I will open a separate thread on WWWs)

I do that all the time, buy for less and sell for.more.
I sincerely don't understand why established members put time and energy in threads like this one. OP admits he is a flipper. I don't have moral opinions about that but I could not care less about flippers not doing their homework

Do the ads mention the fake dial, etc?

Did not save the sales/pictures, and now no access...
But the headline was Omega military watch, nothing about fake stuff....

Quoted in case our new intrepid would-be dealer decides he'd like this thread to go away because he doesn't like the verdict...

I guess the fact that OP is so open in his intentions that it's actually interesting to follow

I have a bit of the schadenfreude in cases like this. OP paid $500 for this seeing dollar signs in his eyes figuring he could make a bunch of money on it. Flippers always think they can find some sucker to buy something like this for as much as they see the rest listed online.

Instead, HE is the sucker, and the $500 he paid is probably about the max value this is worth. Perhaps he will find ANOTHER sucker drawn to overpay this out of greed, but I'm sure you have to put more than $500 worth of work into it to find said sucker 😀

Though, maybe he should just ask the shop he bought it from for advice! They did a good job finding someone to overpay for this.
