Hello everyone, my name is Martin, I just signed up because I purchased my first OMEGA and want to get into watchmaking on vintage pieces. Thanks already for all the Info in older posts. Looks like a great community Greetings from Germany
Getting into watchmaking is a laudable goal, there’s a watchmaking topic with a lot of great posts in it from @Archer that are really informative
Greetings Martin and welcome. Yes please post some pictures of your watches and compliments on your username. MADFORCE has a much cooler sound than my uninspiring username
Hello Martin- Welcome from New Delhi We've an excellent member here a MAD DOG. Expecting a good participation from MADFORCE.
Hallo Martin, and welcome to the forum. Would like to see your first Omega and maybe other (vintage) watches you have. Greetings from Hamburg!
Thank you all for the nice greetings Most of my watches are from the 60s and I got really good deals for them. A lot of people don't appreciate these older timepieces, but in my opinion they are just timeless and show some real elegance. But maybe this is better for us watchlovers
I also have some other more modern, but less interesting watches. Unfortunately my Omega isn't complete and I am working on it. It has a killer patina dial imo but the ase is not complete
The best thing is, that I have also a Certina Waterqueen. I want to give it to my future wife (when I find one), so we can be King and Queen
In particular I like the Kienzle (1822-2014), which is classic german stuff. Very nice with it's date-window over the six. Every Jack has his Jill, so good luck, finding your Queen!
