This is literally false w/r/t eggs. No disrespect, no criticism, but it's not factual. Gas has gone from $3.20 in Feb to $3.09 in March; I cannot imagine it drops further, but we'll soon see.

Just real quick, I wanted to say that gasoline can fall further. Gas prices do have a tendency to tank if there is fear of recession or an actual recession. Maybe take a look at average price by month during 2008 to 2009 if you're curious. There was a significant price crash, and it did little to save the small people.

Much more importantly, the single biggest impact on gas prices is typically stuff that OPEC does.

The major issue is that gasoline prices can fall and inflation can still be up. The March numbers had inflation down 0.1%, while 12 month inflation is still up. If I recall, inflation numbers we'e increasing month of the month during January and february.

Ultimately the inflation discussion is something that should be revisited again when we have the next release of CPI data; a 0.1% move down while still being up YTD and rolling 12 months is not a good indication that inflation is coming down... and anyone who thinks that it is should look at the inflation numbers month over month for the last 5 Years. They fluctuate much greater than 0.1%. That's nothing.

Going back to the OP and prices of watches, we have this happening in addition to tariffs

Forget Swiss watches, my next trips to Europe, Mexico and Japan are going to cost more.

Maybe we should think about going to Australia since the snakes have drowned and the beer is cold.

I will go for the beer and the company I figure I might enjoy, but I'm sad for the snakes.

Bond yields also still very high despite the "pause". Money leaving the country.

I think we timed it right, but just got back from Japan. It was incredible, everything was inexpensive.

We are a few months into his Presidency. 馃槅
He's the one who said he would lower gas prices on day 1 and now we're getting close to day 100.

We did too. Much prospect for Japanese culture.

Japan is a good example of a society that works together. It's nearly the opposite of USA philosophy of every one for themselves.

Therein lies the problem. Don't step on them, don't sit on them, don't have them fall on your head. What am I missing?

I mean honestly, given where we live the most common snake you or I will ever encounter in the wild is a common garter snake. And about the only risk you have from them, is that many of them are toxic because they eat toxic rough skinned newts and co-opt the tetrodotoxin that the newts produce.

So as long as you don't eat the local snakes you should be fine! 馃槈

Giant wasps capable of killing tarantulas.

I'll have to dig through my folder of the slightly more exotic animals I have encountered and see what I can find for you. Have you ever seen a sun spider? My wife has learned to like snakes but I don't think she will ever like spiders, and especially not Sun spiders. We had some in arizona, typically in the garage. I have to admit that I find them somewhat hideous myself

100%.

I love Japan, my wife grew up in Chiba. Their culture is the best I鈥檝e seen, and I鈥檝e spent time in several countries. I wish our school system was like theirs, respect and community is the focus from the beginning, It鈥檚 totally ingrained. I鈥檓 hopeful, if AI takes over, our early education system moves to social skills.

Nice! Japanese craftsman are usually insanely good. I've always wanted to go to Japan and get some bespoke shoes made. Probably won't happen for awhile now.

I hope you get the opportunity sir. Japanese craftsmanship isn鈥檛 about over engineering, it鈥檚 about perfection. The best at what they do imo.

Don't argue politics or religion with them.
