hey guys im newbie here & in the vintage game i just got a question for the expert i want your opinion on those watches please . now im not a collector or anything like that, i just liked the watches and i wanna make sure from you guys if they are good or fake lol thank you all for the help
They are old Omega pocket watches and movements artistically made into watches ( usually done in eastern block countries) Artistically = polite way to say it Not real Omegas anymore and not worth what they ask for them, or much at all.
Lot's of work gone into detailing those watches - unfortunately not worth very much. However - if you like them - wear them !
@STANDY Thank you a lot for your nice and kind reply ! thats all i needed an expert advise ! thank you for not judging and understanding im not expert plus thank you for not being an asshole like @Tony C. have a nice day ya'll
As is too often the case, we have a noob who doesn't bother to do the slightest bit of research before asking for help. But this one is special, because he also fired off two pathetic, expletive-laced PMs as well, furious that I had the cheek to answer his post sarcastically, rather than be helpful.
I thought tony was real nice.. I had a joke about the omega tales from the crypt limited edition one.
One of the best bit of advice I can give you is research is the main thing you should do in vintage watch circles. @Tony C. myself and other do get annoyed by the amounts of newer members that don't do this and just want a free ride. I chose to help you because of your avatar and the thank you in your first post. I have been known to be just as short as @Tony C. at times to people without avatars. Stick around and research as much as you can and learn because there is a lot of knowledge on this forum and a lot of good guys. ( @Tony C. And @efauser are two of them ) Cheers
Please don't spread misinformation about me. I work hard to maintain my reputation. Actually, it requires no effort at all.
