·SOLD is my Heuer Carrera ref 510.511 chronograph (seven hands!)
Cool 1980's tool watch with legendary Lemania movement.
Price is slashed again to US $2,900, net to me. No trades, no returns.
Plenty of room in that price for case refinishing if you like.
Condition (see photos):
+Case was likely recoated (but not by me). Otherwise would be priced much higher. The case can be refinished if desired (some good work is being done out there - see Heuertime).
+Dial is clean and gorgeous, lume plots are intact showing lovely patina
+Hands in excellent condition, no flaws to my eye
+Acrylic crystal looks very good, may have a small scratch or two, nothing major that Polywatch shouldn't be able to handle
+Crown and pushers naturally show some wear on black coating
+Caseback with reference clearly visible, has some scratches likely from removal
Lemania 5100 movement:
+Movement appears pristine, simply gorgeous (see photos)
+Service history unknown (hard-to-decipher engravings on the inside of caseback indicate past service)
+Chronograph functions appropriately and resets to zero
+Accuracy not measured
Included with watch (see photos):
+Brown leather strap with black stitching (very good condition)
+Grey nato with black hardware (near mint)
+Olive green nato with black hardware (near mint)
Thanks for looking!
