Heuer Camaro 7743N The Heuer Camaro was one of several iconic models developed by Jack Heuer in the 60's as he tried to capture a larger share of the US market. Named after the Chevy Camaro it helped position Heuer as a favorite brand among the racing crowd of the late 60's. The reference 7743 or Heuer Camaro 30 is a 2 register chronograph sporting the Valjoux 7730 movement with a 30 minute counter. This example was my first Camaro..I quickly fell in love with the reference. MODEL: Heuer Camaro Reference: 7743N Size: 37mm cushion-shape case Age: c.1969 CONDITION: The dial shows its age with all original dark lume at the hour markers and hands. The crystal and case have signs of use and light to medium scratches. The case has been polished in the past. The model number and serial number are clearly visible between the 19mm lugs. The signed crown and round pushers are all original. The Valjoux 7730 is running correctly, and the chronograph functions as it should. The movement was serviced by the Belgian master when I purchased it, but its been many years so it is sold as-is with no warranty and no returns. The photos are part of the description, so please review all the images. I will post better images in a few days. These were taken today with an iPhone. Comes on a black leather racing band.
