Dear co-members of OF I´m putting this excellent, rare and well-known HEUER Autavia “Jo Siffert” up for sale. Model: Heuer Autavia “Jo Siffert”, Mark6 Ref. 1163 Serial: 204xxx Movement: Heuer caliber. 12 Size: 42,5 mm Year: 1970 The watch is in a very honest, original and untouched condition. Furthermore the watch has a very nice and unpolished case with the amount of scratches and dings you can expect from a watch that is 50 years old. It come with the original crown and pushers. Dial and hands have the original tritium lumen with blue indexes and blue seconds hands and blue chrono hand. There is no peeling lacquer or loss of lume dots. Hands are all original and lume is intact. The color is nice and slightly creamy – perfect patina. The dial has a scratch that goes into the right subdial (see pictures). MH bezel is original and in great shape, and the plexi is supposingly the original one. There is a small crack on the plexi between 7-8, but you can only see it when the watch is held in a specific angel (see picture) Mechanically the watch is 100% and runs perfectly. Service history is unknown. I have priced the watch fair considering the scratch and the crack on the plexi. It´s a rare watch with a very interesting history.
