Cheers, thanks both. Going to try to make some time to go see the watch in person again this weekend or next.

The dealer has confirmed that the bracelet is dated 1967 and the endlinks are HELs. Strangely, they've said there's no serial number. My guess here is that they didn't realize the serial might be covered up by the bracelet - I'd be a bit surprised if the number was polished off given the condition of the rest of the case.

One more photo of the watch - perhaps a better angle of the endlinks:
Ask to take off the strap .
Serial must be present , ref maybe not .
4 or 5 k for the correct gf strap is asking price ...
not sur they are sold at this price .

The reference number should not be engraved on these watches. That practice began in about 1969 with the 6-digit serials, roughly.

The serial number is about mid-case. I'd be surprised if the end-links would make it unreadable especially as one of the OP's photos makes the end-link look rather ill-fitting. I wish I could afford a 3647N to complement my S 🥰

Thanks everyone. One other factor on the value of the bracelet is that I don't believe it comes with the full set of links. The bracelet fit my fairly small wrist quite well (about 6.75 inches), so it certainly wouldn't be of interest to anyone with a larger wrist.

Usually a very important point concerning the originality of end links is the engraving but this isn't shown in the second pic...

Should look like that:

As they could have been bent or damaged in a way I think it is very hard to tell from your picture if they are original or not 🙁
