Hi all,

My grandfather has bought this bd 135.070 a loooong time ago. His bracelet broke and he replaced it with the bracelet on the pictures. He unfortunately passed away. He told me the watch is an omega bd135.070. I went to a watch specialist to see how much is worth.( I would like to wear it but pure gold is not really my thing ).He told me the bracelet isn’t made for the bd135.070 but for another watch. It also doesn’t really fit. Now I’m wondering to which watch this bracelet fits. The watch specialist told me if you find someone with this watch looking for the bracelet it could be worth a lot.

Looking forward to any replies

It’s hard to tell from your pictures but I don’t think these later Geneves came in solid gold. Is the caseback stew or gold coloured? Having the case opened and sharing a picture of the inside of the caseback here would confirm.

the bracelet does appear to be solid 18ct and so will have significant value. If it were mine I’d sell the bracelet and keep the watch, on a gold plated bracelet or nice leather strap.

Thank you for the response!
that is exactly my idea.
The next goal is to find out which watch(es) would fit the bracelet.

I think the bracelet was the watch, some watches have integrated bracelets and the model of the watch is on the bracelet, this looks like one of them, I think someone got his bracelet cut out and instead of melting it, jewellers kept it with hopes of fetching a better price, and this match was made

Don't think this case design was made for bracelet. Unless you just stuck a standard straight end piece bracelet on it. All images shown on leather straps

True I’m just looking for the watch that fits the bracelet haha. Might it be a 135.070?

I don’t think so. As I said above, I don’t think this ref ever came in solid gold. Have you researched to try and find a solid gold example?
