Hi JimlnOz

To my understanding the Russian Space Agency & The Yuri Gagarin Space Training Academy had officially adopted Fortis as their Official Space watch for all their Russian trained Cosmonauts & Soyuz missions since 1994 first used in the MIR space station then the ISS
The Fortis Official Cosmonauts Chronograph is the Lemania based Cal 5100 Ref 602.22.142 is not exactly pretty but super rare highly collectible & not in production anymore. Sheikh also wore the Fortis Flieger GMT & the Sub while conducting Zero Gravity Experiments devised by a local Malaysian University. Why Sub ? Why Not ? Can you see the unmistakable Oyster bracelet he was wearing just before boarding Soyuz ? I think he was allowed a personnel item or two on board the ISS

So it would seem, including some satay and cookies to hand out to the rest of the crew on 13 October 2007 to mark the end of Ramadan.

(stolen from Google).

I have no idea what Aussie cosmo/astro naughts would have smuggled aboard, maybe beer and witchety grubs 馃槻

Time to take off my 52-year old Accutron that I've worn for three weeks, and change to my rose gold Omega jumbo 39mm. The Cattleya orchid bloomed just in time for our 50th anniversary celebration on April 23.

I'll go out on a limb and suggest the picture might be Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia?

Yup, Peggy's Cove it is..... I stood on the waters edge with a ton of expensive equipment and took my time taking a nice shot while my wife stood in the middle of the road behind me and snapped the flawless picture shown over my shoulder in about 2 seconds with a $50 Kodak. I could have cried when I got the prints.

I got rid of my SLR equipment and kept the wife.

We were there in 1979. When we arrived, the cove was engulfed in a pea soup fog! Visibility maybe 100'! We visited the gift shop for a short time. And when we went back outside, the fog had lifted, and the visibility was about one mile. I took a picture which included more sheds on the left and right, and a gravel road right about where you were standing, showing in the foreground. I sent the slide to Kodak to have a print made. They cropped the negative to show just about the same shot your wife took, and printed it suitable for an 8 1/2 " x 11 " frame. It's my favourite picture ever! Cudos to your good lady! She's worth keeping!
