·Hello,
I own a Helvetia watch from my grandfather. I have been trying to identify its provenance, but I can't find pictures of a copy with such a dial anywhere. There is no serial number on the envelope, only the number ‘819’ stamped under the envelope lid.
My grandfather was a participant in World War 2 - first forcibly conscripted into the German army, and in the second phase of the war he made his way to England and served there in the army commanded by General W. Anders.
Thank you in advance for your help.
