Nice example - when Oris came out with their Depth Gauge model a few years ago saying it was the first time this had been done, I pointed out that Helvetia had beaten them by many decades...they were not impressed I think and someone on the Oris marketing team didn't do their research!

Nivada also had one in the 60/70s.

The Nivada Deptomatic was issued for the Swedish navy divers during the 70s

Very nice buy and original box to boot. The dial is very reminiscent of the RAN (Royal Australian Navy) DROZ Supercompressors, which if you can find one, go for a tad bit more than a few (thousand) dollars. It is definitely a depth gauge watch. Get it serviced and enjoy wearing your little treasure.

Indeed. Cool pickup. Careful with the crystal... Replacements cannot be found (I've been hunting for 3 years).
