Hi, I have a Rolex with a serial number 2658735
and a model number 6694. Can someone tell me exactly what is the type/model and maybe also the year ? Thanks in advance.

What has a basic google search told you?

you seem to have the mode number already lol. And a simple search should give you the age based on the serial number.

Rolex Oysterdate circa 1971. Thanks @Raaanch I learned something new today about searching. I will use it to find my wife next time we go to the mall.

As noted, the reference number is 6694, which is a type of Oysterdate. The year is an approximation, but your watch is likely 1970/71.

For example, I have a 2.5M Datejust in front of me at the moment, and the inside caseback (added when the watch was assembled) is dated the second quarter of 1970, while the bracelet (possibly added at the point of sale) is dated the first quarter of 1971.
