Hi all, I inherited my granddad’s watch which he bought from Hong Kong in 1968 whilst he was in the RAF. I have the original box, warranty receipt etc, but I can’t find a similar one on the internet, and I would like to know roughly of its value as I need to insure it. Id like to get it serviced so I can wear it and then pass it on to my nephew in later years. it is a Seamaster KO 14770. I tried the omega website but couldn’t find it. I have found similar-ish but not with the bracelet and I know it is the original bracelet. Any clues? Thanks in advance.
Bracelets were point of sale items, meaning the buyer picked what they wanted from the selling agent when purchased, they were supplied to the dealer on a leather strap.
