In the1960s, Omega produced a range of ladie’s watches. The name given to the series was “Sapphette”. Manual wind, almost always (if not always) karat gold cases. Either 14-karat or 18-karat, depending on the market the watch was destined for. The glass in them is not glass, but synthetic white sapphire. These crystals were facetted in the same manner that precious gems were facetted. The subject watch is from the Sapphette series. These watches were often ornamented with gemstones (diamonds). Round styles (yours) predominated, but they were also fashioned in other shapes as well. They were also done in white gold.

This one may be plated, I think there's wear through of the plating on the lugs, showing the brass beneath.
Hard to tell from that photo though.
Also possibly a US cased version (Swiss v Swiss Made)?
