Hi guys, does anyone know something about this piece. All I know is that this is the reference 2421-2 (1944) 34mm and belongs to the hammer automatic category. I haven‘t found anything online or elsewhere. The glass was apparently replaced. What would something like this be worth? I find the dial and patina really nice.

This is a nice reference. The one that you show has a replacement crown, and radium burn on the dial, but the snap-back "waterproof" case appears to be in very good condition.

Values can vary significantly, especially given the current economic uncertainties.

Nice piece overall. Have you bought any of the watches you have been asking about?

Not yet - I'm still kind of waiting for the right piece and trying to figure stuff out, I'm also learning a lot from you guys and I appreciate your help 😀

Is a replaced crown considered a dealbreaker or a reason to bargain? The watch is listed for around 690$.

You could source a more sympathetic replacement crown. The price is not out of line.

I like the radium burn, it gives a Scarface effect, a watch that has lived with danger.
the case has a nice appeal with its prominent handles.

the replacement crown is a good bargaining chip, the starting price being already attractive.
