I received this omega reference 2505 in a trade recently and im starting to doubt the authenticity of the dial. The previous owner is not sure of the dial either. So i'm asking you guy's help. Is this a redial?

Morning and welcome to the forum.

I believe it to be a redial, but I'm far from an an expert! The middle of the "M" doesn't seem to be on the same like as the edges/legs of the "M".

Additionally, I find the font to be too "thin"

Now, as said, the real experts here, which I'm not, will surely help you best!

This was only my morning thought, and me daring to sound clever 馃榾

Redial, the sub dial is filled with paint and the rings are almost gone.

Yeah that's what I was mostly concerned of. All the other markings seems consistent imo. Thank you!

Yes, the sub-dial is the most obvious clue in this case.

Dial is real. Just refinished. I think it looks fine Everything seems to line up OK.

Small second hand could replaced. Snip with a pair od sharp scissors

ss hand seems to line up with other examples and the hand set seems to be fit together both in the aging and the color, so i dont think theres any issues with it

As noted, the seconds hand is too long.
