    Hi!!
I bought this omega 30t2 and have working trying to restore it. According the serial number its an early 40s. I manage to ruin the beatific syringe hands and had to fit ebay pur chased one
The question is if this is a redial or not. I have no clue. Seems the real deal for me.

    Thanks!!

I am still learning, but I would guess that it is redialed. My guess stems from the following reasons:
    1. The minute track markers are of varying thicknesses and lengths.
    2. The small seconds dial print is a bit off center, sitting slightly higher and to the right.
    3. The 5 and 7 numbers are going over onto the small seconds dial. From what I've seen so far, typically they are cut off to sit outside of it.

BUT one indicator that I should note that gives me pause in fully calling it a redial is that in the sub seconds dial you can see the grooves pretty well. From previous examples, those are less visible when the dial is repainted. I think overall though, the 3 concerns I have outweigh the mitigating one for my decision.

Still, I would hold on and see until someone more experienced than me chimes in.

Redial for sure, the incomplete infill on the numerals is a dead giveaway.

I also think it's a redone, years ago, dial and -sorry- case 2505 is not for an earlier T2 movement like yours. This case ref is mainly for 265-266 cal

Yeah it notice that the 2505 is used for 30t2 pc or 265. But I love this 2505 case. I'm eager to find a stainless steel one. Thanks!!
