Can anyone give me accurate measurements of original 2915 arrow hands please? I have found some for sale but want to make sure they are for a Speedy rather than railmaster, ranchero etc.. Thanks

2915 hands have same (external) dimension as Replica 57 hands , with some slight difference in the internal contour of luminous paste

here in comparison the two types...

(dark paste for 2915 and light paste for Replica 57)

The original hands are also yellow gold with rhodium platting ( at least the minutes are, I could not swear on the hours but it seems likely)

The vintage should be an 9mm/13mm.

I believe they should be shorter 0.5/1mm then the Replica, and the Replica has under 11/15mm (9.5/13.5 mm) according to Omega.

Yes indeed original 2915 hands are shorter 1mm than the Replica, but I confirme that original 2915 are 11/15 mm and Replica are 12/16 mm

If that data comes from the same source as all your other "facts", I think we'll take ginobi's measurements.

Thank you to all, especially Ginobi, this is just the information I require. I think the loose hands I have found are correct for the Speedy then as I guess the Ranchero, 2913 and 2914 hands would be shorter.
I have a nice set on my own 2915 but really didn't want to take it apart just to measure the hands!

    Cheers!

…. which is why we ask other experienced collectors the question - because we actually have first hand evidence.

Just a short while ago you advised against sending a watch to Omega because they'll slap any old things together…..

(the above came from this thread)

….but now you're using their replacement parts guide (which is what OFrei goes by) as the answer to a vintage question?

Maybe you understood this wrong. My measurements info were for the Replica model.

Besides OFrei, Cousins provide the same measurements:
    065PZ4067 - HANDS H.M. 20-WL4016_60/61-13.50/9.50

I am still against sending to Omega but what parts have to do with this ?

Here is a pair of BA 2913 hands, just to compare size ;-) To me they look like almost the same length as the 2915 above. NOT shorter anyhow. Perhaps the minute hand is a bit longer and also thinner/pointy at the end. Would be interesting if someone had pictures and measurement of the BA 2914 hands and also the Ranchero hands.

Yes, the same length sure... but not the same shape and above all the diameter of hole for stem is very different ;)
