What do people think about this, getting into a later and less desirable time period?

One more observation on this after looking at my Golden Shadow & Italian RR and combing through Sala. All examples with that version of the logo I looked at had a gap between the sides of the U and the border - with this one there is no discernible gap. All things considered I'd give it a wide berth.

That above watch comes with buckle, which also looks odd to me. I'm familiar with U buckles that have a flat face and sharp edges, I have not seen this rounded style. Is this an authentic variation?

Here's a few more sword small seconds, although perhaps not good references. But they are uncommon, so just posting whatever I come across.

as I had hoped it's a bit nicer in person. Sometimes the camera angle and light on the partially degraded lume can make things look worse than IRL. One of the lug pins is missing though, trying to work that out with seller. If I keep, will get hands relumed and not a bad little watch for my gf.

I love two tone dials, I'm wearing a similar one right now.

Hands are relumed, lug pin repaired, on a nice strap with a rose gold buckle, I think will make a very nice Xmas watch for my special lady friend...
