Help with potential purchase Seamaster 165.003

I have been lurking here trying educate myself about what I want in a vintage Omega, and what to look for. What I want - Seamaster or Constellation with seahorse or observatory on caseback, white face, no date, dauphin hands. As I want to wear this on leather as a dress watch, prefer not to be on bracelet. Ideally manufactured 1964 - 1968 to be close to if not exactly a birth year watch. I’d like to keep the price to around $1300 USD.

Have been tracking private sales on OF, the EBay recommendations and chrono24. I’m hoping OF members can help me assess this example from a Japanese seller (E bay and Chrono24) - advertised as serviced 552 movement, lightly polished but still sharp edges, original dial, original crystal, no mention of crown. The seller gets good reviews. At the top of my budget, but meets all my criteria.

So, what am I missing? My biggest concern from the photos is the dial - I get that patina is desirable but is this too much aging across the dial.
At $1400 USD is this ok value or overpriced? Really appreciate the help, thanks in advance.

That watch is almost twice what I’d pay for it.

These are common and there’s no need to settle for one with dial degradation.

Paying $1000 for a 55x watch that is neither gold nor a Pie Pan seems nuts to me. That one has spent a LOOOONG time on someone's polishing wheel (see the case back), but the movement looks pretty clean to me, though the photo is horrifically over exposed.

I don’t see too much evidence of polishing. It’s too expensive all the same.

Thanks for the comments. That was my feeling too but good to gave more informed opinions. I guess patience is what counts with a specific wish list like this.
