Help with Omega constellation pan pie

I previously posted here yesterday, with a watch being sold from an antiques dealer. I was overwhelmed with the helpful responses of the knowledgable enthusiasts on the forum so thank you again. I am wondering what your opinion is on dial in terms of originality on this particular model available on chrono24. I noticed the words Swiss and time seem to be slightly out of line with each other and to my eye the star doesn’t seem to go straight through the crosshair. It’s a being sold at £1,567.

I also see advice to stay away from over polished examples. Would this constitute as an overpolished example?

The case is not appealing to me, I didn't look further.

What about the case is not appealing to you? Is it just the model or it’s that it is too polished? I’m really trying to understand from an enthusiast perspective

Nice ! Is the crown really original ?
I had my reservations about the crown too, it appears not

Not a decagonal crown, not original.
A thin scalloped crown is also a viable original crown for this reference but the current crown is the modern replacement.
It is an Omega original crown but not the original style for this watch.

Two different gold capped 14393 examples here with very good cases, try to compare them to the watch above:

@solarising
The pics aren’t that great but the dial looks correct.
Difficult to see but the lume may have been removed from the indices.

The case has been polished over the years and has lost some of its definition - gold cap watches aren’t as sharp as SS or gold but the lugs should have facets.

Thank you for the photos! I do see your examples have a lot more definition, and the one I sent is a lot softer.

Interesting to know, I will definitely bear this in mind going forward

This is the level of detail I should be aiming for in a case?
