Apparently, you bought it! When you get it, post more pictures, hopefully without the glare. Either remove the case back, or have it removed, and provide us with a picture of the markings inside the case back. Omit the hand-scratched repair marks. Also a picture of the mechanism.

"Omega black dial (refinished)" = BAD.

The watch is described accurately in the listing. Specifically, the dial has been repainted/refinished. You won't find many people on this forum who would buy a watch like that, but we are collectors. If you like it, enjoy it.

Next time ask before buying. There is a lot to learn.

I will. However, I can still return this once it shows up. I'm happy to live and learn.

Will that leave the seller out of pocket ?

Return costs would be on me..
So yes he’d be out of pocket, which is a bit tough as he listed it accurately.

I hear your point. I'll be fair to the seller. Thank you.

So just to be clear, so I know what I have...

As far as you can tell from pictures, I'll have an Omega from the mid 50's with original parts, but a refinished dial?

Looks original to me, although as well as the refinished dial the case is very heavily polished which collectors dislike. Also I think the movement looks pretty dirty if it’s really been serviced. I’d want to know if that pic was taken prior to service, and if so ask for a post service pic. If you’re going to back out better to do so before they post it.

I thought about taking it to a place in Denver after it arrives to have an expert look closely at it. Any ideas what a service/cleaning would cost?

Watch looks legit to me. The seller says 1958, and I agree with that estimate. Overall, I can't find much to fault in the seller's description. He is marketing it towards a buyer who wants a vintage watch that looks like new, and there's nothing wrong with that. Most likely that describes the majority of buyers.

A few hundred USD most likely, depending on where you bring it.

it's a good refinished anyway. bit of a high side but if it's your wife's gift and you are not an avid vintage omega collector.
enjoy that nice watch. maybe it is your birthyear that she got it for you. 😁

I really appreciate the feedback you all have provided! I'm going to enjoy this watch for what it is... Maybe someday I'll dabble in the collecting side, but for now I'll just be proud to wear a beautiful watch! Thanks again. 😀

Good decision.
The seller is under no obligation to accept a return as the watch was quite accurately described in text and photographs.
In addition to the return postage costs, you would be up for a 5% fee. as per the conditions of the auction.

It's a nice watch so get it serviced and enjoy it.
