Hi everyone,

I have an old Omega Speedmaster LCD in my collection that needs a little maintenance.

Among other things, some buttons are a bit stiff and the front glass is scratched. I have already disassembled the watch, but how can I remove the buttons for cleaning?

Are they simply pressed or screwed onto the counterpart (that gold-colored pin)?

And my second question would be how easy it is to change the glass. Can I just push it out from the inside or should I take off the bezel at the front to remove the glass? I look forward to your advice 😀

Best
Oli

My advice would be to seek out the services of a real watchmaker

In case anyone should find this thread after seeing my sales thread for an Omega LCD: This is a different watch than the one from this thread here😉 I have / had several of these models.
