Definitely, of course I could of had a $400 bid ready to go at the last 3 seconds, but with what everyone said, this was not worth firing for that much.

Good on you 馃憤

Get some more experience in judging good from bad and end up paying more for an example that'll bring you more joy in the long run - it's worth it 馃榾

Well, you would only have been bidding against the under bidder who pulled the pin and the increment. Even if you had a snipe at $450 who knows if that would win, who knows what the winners max bid was?

When you find a good watch and have convinced yourself that it's worth a serious bid, set a snipe at the maximum you are prepared to spend.
And then turn of the computer and have a coffee or go to bed.
If you win you win, if you don't, who cares.

Good luck with the hunt.

Good thing you didn't buy it as I just noticed the bottom right lug is worn thru to the metal base. It's a gold cap watch. Layer of gold on top of a steel base case.

The gold is completely worn away revealing the steel under the gold. Can see it in image two & three.

Tends to blend in on the images, so many didn't noticed and just saw it now
