Help with (Japanese?) Translation. Pocket watch inscription.

I came across an interesting Longines that has an inscription on it. Normally I'd use Google Translate, but it's not as easy when the language doesn't use the same alphabet.

For some background, the watch uses blue jewels, which was seen in 1930's Japan. I was curious about the two clear jewels, but that is for another post. The watch is housed in an SKS Seikosha platinum case.

I'd like to see a clearer photo, but it probably says, "Presented to President Yamaguchi by all the employees of Fujiya Motor Company."

My platinum Omega has a similar inscription. Could you also translate? That would be awesome!

The top line says the company's 50th anniversary.
The bottom line is the name of the company

So it looks like the inscription on the top watch reads 紀念 then.
I had a hard time parsing 上組合資会社; would that be Kamigumi Limited Partnership Company?

Oh, I see!!! I think you are right. I can't quite decipher it, but I think it's a "紀念" me too.

Yes, it would have been clearer if I had written "上組" and "合資会社" separately.
By the way, "Kamigumi Limited Partnership" could be this company.

I think you’re exactly right about the company. If it’s the 50th anniversary of its original founding, that would be 1916.

Mr. Yamaguchi was president of the Fujiya Hotel, a storied institution in Hakone, as well as the president of Fujiya Motor Company, so he must have been a prominent industrialist. The watch seems to have an illustrious provenance.
