Help with inherited watch

Hi, my mother inherited this watch and we have no idea if it’s valuable. She’d actually like to sell it if she can. Can anyone tell us anything about it?

Appears to be early 1970s, exact reference number will be marked inside the case back.

Not a desirable design nowadays, value would be in the scrap value of the gold.
