Not much out there on Hernor. (thanksPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network)
Hernor does not seem to show up in the usual databases of swiss watch manufacturers. Most vintage examples that I can find online are from French sources, which leads me to think the brand may originate in that country. Where did you find yours? Also, this link suggests the same (note comment about "eb suisse"): http://forums.watchuseek.com/f11/my-little-vintage-collection-666492.html A nice pointer date example here:
Thanks again unfortunately the two links I have already stumbled on ,I two believe that it may be a French manufacturer .Its surprising and frustrating in the age of all things google not to be able to identify something !
This eBay listing from 2015Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network describes a 1960 Hernor diver watch as "This is a lovely time piece by HERNOR, a French brand that we’ve come across a few times in recent years – it has a nice quality LORSA P75 movement..." The movement is signed CONTINENTAL TIME CO INC 17 JEWELS, FRANCE P75 (Lorsa P75): Perhaps Hernor is a brand of the Continental Time Co., France.
