Hi all
So I have come across this watch. To my eyes (still learning) it looks original, some polishing is evident. Could you give me your thoughts and a market value if buying privately. The seller says it was serviced a couple of years ago but no receipt so I assume needs a service

Thanks

See the ER spelling of chronometer? That means the dial has been repainted. All Connie’s with bumper movements should be RE. It’s not the only reason but it’s the most obvious.

It’s an obvious redial (even if it had the RE spelling). The fonts aren’t correct and defined enough (2648 have specific fonts on some letters), crosshairs doesn’t cross where they should, the markers aren’t consistent, and so on.

I’d recommend finding original examples here on the forum, and then lining both side by side to compare with precision.
